Hip-hop dance refers to dance styles performed to hip-hop music or as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles to include break dancing, locking and popping. Novelty and fad dances were added to hip hop such as the Roger Rabbit, the Cabbage Patch, and the Worm in the 1980s followed by the Running Man and the Humpty dance in the 1990s.
